- Select The Module – This is where you select the module you are configuring. All the settings above and below the drop downs are related to the selected module. After you update the settings make sure you Save them.
- Included In the Panel – If “Yes” then object will show up in the Google Maps panel and on the Map. If “No” – object will not show up in the map or in the panel.
- Checked By Default – If “Yes” then the object will be checked by default in the Google Maps panel and on the Map. Checked means that it will auto load the objects on the map.
- Pin Shape – Select the pin for the selected module.
- Icon/Break Field – Field which will be used to differentiate the type of objects. For example, If the Icon/Break Field is “Rating” and we have 2 accounts in the same area, one Rating is “A”, other is “B”. When the accounts will be displayed on the map – the pin color will be different for both, so you can see that the rating is different. If the Rating would be the same – then the pin color would be the same.
- Filter – You can apply the filter for the records displayed on the Google Map. The filter works with only drop down fields. Note, you will be able to adjust the filter on the fly(while Google Maps are open), this is just a DEFAULT filter setting.

- Address Type – Here you can select which address to map. You will find default addresses in the Address Type drop down for each selected module. You can also create a custom mapping for address, just select the fields from the drop down and save the configuration. Make sure you run “Sync” after you change the address fields.

- Fields to display on Google Maps and the bubble – You can select the order and the fields you want to see on Google Maps bubble and the panel on the right.

[accordion title=”Update Geo (Lat, Lng) Codes”]
- This section is necessary to update the Geo coordinates of each object(contact, lead, accounts, etc..) in vTiger so it can be found on the map.
- You need to select the module from “Select The Module” drop down and run the “Sync”.
- Note, this will only get the coordinates of the module you selected. You will need to sync each module separately. You will only use this when first install the module. Newly added objects to vTiger will have the Geo coordinates already(coordinates will be generated automatically). Also, you will have to Sync imported objects(if you do the import of let’s say contact after you install the module – you will have to run the sync for the module.
- If you have a lot of data – it might take a while to sync – you will see the progress as it syncs.

[accordion title=”Google Maps Integration”]
- Include Search Fields? – By default all address fields will show up on the Google Map search. You can adjust if you want to see fewer fields.
- Default Mile Radius – You can set default mile radius for each module. You will be able to manually change the radius on the map as well.
- Elevation (Zoom Level) – You can set default Elevation (Zoom Level) for each module. You will be able to manually change the radius on the map as well.
- Enable On-Demand Refresh – If set to “Yes”, then as you uncheck the modules/filter in the Google Maps panel, it will auto hide/display records – you will not need to hit search to see the changes.
- Google API Key – Leave it as is for now.

- When configured you should see a Google Map widget on the right object side. Use Google maps just to do a simple google maps look up for the address and Radius Maps to see the address and other objects near by.
