FYI – 6.4 was released today. I was hoping for/expecting new features. The only new items in the release were a security fix, some bug fixes and the ability to easily deploy new themes. I was hoping to see more on demand features start to work their way into the open source version, but we will have to wait and see in 2016.

Layouts – Build your own app on 6.4
In 6.4, developers can create new layouts, and distribute them via the marketplace. Users can install layouts from the extension store.
This feature opens up many possibilities for developers to use their expertise and tailor Vtiger for specific domains, and even white-label it.
