A client’s standard open source Vtiger created a problem where they could not view all of the summary information for a record in list-view Vtiger Columns. This was due to two reasons so we provided a two-part solution.
First, the width of the Vtiger columns was too wide and so the client could not view the next column. We addressed this by shortening the columns and fitting every column onto one page. With the column width being shortened, we coded the fields with text wraparound so the text remained visible.
This is also a perfect solution for companies who want to fit more columns on to one page. We wrote about adjusting the text length in list view to address this issue. However, if the goal is to see all of a record’s information and columns, adjusting the text length does not help when the problem is the column width.
