Our client needed a faster way to create quotes in Vtiger so we created a capability using Price Books. The goal is to have specific price books load in related quote records so they can easily create the quote and have accurate prices for their customers.
How Are Specific Price Books already Populated on the Quotes Record?
First, our client selects the type of company (retailer, distributor, etc.) from the “Type” picklist field on the organization record. Once they select the Organization “Type” Field, the specific price book is populated in the new quote.
